LONG-TERM MISSIONARIES

LONG-TERM MISSIONARIES

$5/month (per share)

Healing Haiti has a legacy of empowering individuals to live out their call as long-term missionaries. Missionaries work alongside our Haitian staff to support ongoing work in areas such as elder care, sponsorship, sustainable agriculture, and medical care.

Our missionaries are self-supported, relying solely on the support of the Healing Haiti community in order to continue serving.

Click on the photo of a long-term missionary below to learn more about their call to serve. And please prayerfully consider supporting them financially.

We are grateful.

For the past 3+ years Kenny Tritch and Katie Venzke have given their lives in service to the Haitian people. The call to serve as a long-term missionary (particularly in Haiti) is a call to embody the words of John the Baptist, who proclaimed, “It is necessary for [Jesus] to increase and for me to decrease.” Katie and Kenny have lived out this proclamation with conviction. Healing Haiti (and the nation of Haiti) are better because of them. For those of you who have served in Haiti over the past several years, odds are you have also been profoundly impacted by the example Katie and Kenny have set.
.
In Katie, we seen the compassion of Jesus on display. She has combined her God-given tenderness with a tenacity for the work of protecting and honoring the elder communities in Titanyen and Cite Soleil, which has forged trust and helped build lasting relationships between our elders and U.S. teams. Because of Katie, we love better.
.
Two things Kenny is never in short supply of—intelligence and passion. From the moment he set his feet on Haitian soil, he began innovating, experimenting, and (ultimately) transforming our ministry. Kenny pioneered Fleri Farms, managed the infrastructure of our facilities, and introduced the Grace kids to wonder of 1980’s and 90’s video games.
.
Kenny and Katie, may God continue to unveil, deepen, and direct your hearts for whatever He has in store for you. Thank you for love for Haiti, and for honoring the call God has placed on your lives.
