Short-Term Group Mission Trips
Haiti will change everything.
Healing Haiti offers life-changing mission trips with purpose. Team members have the opportunity to live and share their faith and build strong Christ centered relationships. By taking time out of our busy schedules and putting what God has put on our heart into action, team members find purpose and significance. From delivering water in Cite Soleil to helping in orphanages and comforting sick children, team members will have the opportunity to make a real difference. Our trips are consistent with our values of coming alongside our Haitian brothers and sisters, and not doing for them what they can do for themselves but to serve and in doing so, be served.

How much do Haiti mission trips cost?
Trips cost $800 plus airfare and includes lodging, ground transportation, interpreters, meals and bottled water for a standard eight (8) day trip. Any remaining funds support Healing Haiti’s general purposes.
Haiti mission trips leave on Monday and return on Monday. Airplane tickets normally range between $600 and $950 depending on where you are coming from, the time of year, and how far in advance you book your flight.
Team Members must be 15 years old or older. Children under 15 years must be pre-approved by MissionsAdmin@HealingHaiti.org before they will be assigned to any mission trips not designated as a parent/child or youth trip. Parent/Child trips are available for parents who would like to serve with their child between the ages of 10-15.
On our page “About Healing Haiti Mission Trips” you will learn more about Haiti — what you need to do before you go, tools to help you raise support for your trip, what you will do while you are in Haiti and what to expect when you return home.

What Will Happen on Your Trip to Haiti?
DISTRIBUTING WATER TO CITE SOLEIL | Healing Haiti delivers fresh, chlorinated water, bucket by bucket to thousands of families daily, free of charge. Healing Haiti’s water truck employs 2-3 Haitians to run the truck & provides for their families. You will help deliver water, play with kids & interact with the communities. By spending time with these children, you are able to acknowledge them as beautiful, worthy children created in God’s image. You can learn their names & let them know they are not forgotten.
HOME FOR SICK & DYING | Our teams visit the Home for Sick & Dying Babies to hold, feed, change & pray silently for sick & dying children, who have been brought to the facility by their parents or abandoned to the Sisters. Plan on shedding some tears. Most babies will cry & those that are able will put their arms up when they see you! Happy once you pick them up – they won’t be happy when you put them back down. You may want to hold & nurture several or pick a few favorites to bond with. They all will appreciate your loving arms around them! These babies are malnourished, have birth defects, or other illnesses. Our teams also visit the Home for Sick & Dying Adults to give therapeutic massage, pray silently for the patients, & show Christ’s love.
GRACE VILLAGE | Our teams visit the 16 acres of property in Titanyen that is home to Grace Village. You will be amazed to see God’s work at Grace Village, which is complete with a church, school, library, medical clinic, feeding center, children’s homes, bakery/cafe, & a trade school.
HOPE VILLAGE | In Cite Soleil, you will have the opportunity to visit Hope Village, which consists of Hope Church, Hope School, Hope Clinic, & our sewing ministry & Innovation Lab (with the latest Apple technology!). You will see the amazing work God is doing in this important community.
ELDERLIES | Our teams visit elderlies that we care for in Titanyen & in Cite Soleil. We have the opportunity to pray over them, sing, visit, and hear their stories. They are so grateful for our visits and for the friendship & companionship our teams bring to their lives.
WORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES | There is nothing like praising God with others in a different country! Experiencing God’s Presence even through language barriers is so powerful & you will have the opportunity to attend amazing services at Church on the Rock, Rendezvous Church or Grace Church (in Titanyen). You will experience Haitian joy amid extreme material poverty & see the love of God shine brightly in those you meet. Check with your team leader for more information.
SHOPPING & TIME TO DECOMPRESS | You will have opportunities to shop & invest in the local economy and even in our guesthouse neighborhood (Delmas 31). Our local artisan group represents 9+ neighbors who make & resell various Haitian articles & souvenirs (visits are usually scheduled for Wednesday morning). You will also have the opportunity to visit a local hotel & swim/relax by the pool ($5 fee gets you a beverage too!).
ARE YOU SEEKING A WAY TO BRING YOUR GROUP CLOSER TOGETHER?
Whether you’ve got a department of employees, a crew of volunteers, or a just bunch of like-minded friends, consider one of our group mission trips to Haiti. Healing Haiti offers an experience that will strengthen bonds and create memories for your group that will last a lifetime.
Group mission trips break down barriers. Each member of your group has a light glowing inside of them. Taking your members away from the busyness of the world and immersing them in the warmth and love of Haiti allows them to discover that light in themselves and each other.
