What is a FAMILY Mission Trip?

Healing Haiti believes in elevating families living in extreme poverty through job creation.

By helping others see Haiti as an option for their family to serve on a family mission trip, jobs are created and families are strengthened. When parents have jobs, children are less likely to be orphaned or abandoned and allows parents to feed and care for their children, send them to school and keep their family together.  And when families serve together, they too are strengthened. A Family Mission Trip with purpose changes everything.

Serving Alongside Your Family

If you’re looking for a way to serve with your children, consider taking one of our family mission trips.

Maybe you’ve been on a mission trip and have experienced what it’s like to be the hands and feet of Christ and to feel the joy that brings. There’s nothing like the feeling you get when you look into the eyes of someone in need and know that you’ve touched their heart and they’ve touched yours. When this happens, you can feel the Holy Spirit inside you. You would love nothing more than to share this with your children.

Or, maybe you’ve never had the experience of serving and are looking for a new way to draw your family together. Mission trips for the family give moms, dads, kids, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends a chance to bond on a deep level that no typical vacation can offer.

A Service Opportunity Unlike Any Other

Healing Haiti’s mission trips for the family help introduce and develop a love of mission work and open minds and hearts to the needs of others. As a family, you can deliver fresh water to Cite Soleil, pray with Haiti’s elderly, and care for sick babies. Imagine watching your children experience God’s love by serving others. The experience will create a bond and memories that will last a lifetime and set in place blessings that will overflow to the next generation.

Our Family Mission Trips provide a balance serving schedule based on the age of the children on the trip. Depending on the size of your family, you will be teamed up with a few other families looking to serve together in the mission field serving in Port-Au-Prince and Titanyen.

Family Mission Trip include meals, lodging, a personal driver/guide/interpreter and ground transportation to and from the airport and all serving opportunities. Family trips are available for children 10 years old and up and cost $800 plus airfare per person.

What Will Happen on Your Trip to Haiti?
