Recently, a woman showed up at our community lunch (hosted every Sunday at Grace Church). She hadn’t eaten for several days and told me that she came to worship simply for the hope of a meal after. God used her to invite me (and the entire Grace Church community) into a deeper expression of the love of Christ. There are so many practical needs around us, so many opportunities to serve. We are
striving to have a deeper love for our community, especially those who don’t know Jesus.”

In the 10 months I’ve worked at Healing Haiti, I’ve seen firsthand how God moves through our clinic staff. His presence is with us every day, and we see the impact through the positive feedback from the women in our programs. One moment that stands out is when a pregnant woman came in with severe pain, losing blood. We sent her to the hospital but remained in contact, ensuring she had the care and follow-up she needed. She still thanks me for the care we provided. Please pray for my family’s safety and for peace and security in Haiti so I can continue this work I love. One of my favorite Bible verses is Exodus 14:14: “The Lord Himself will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

In my 13 years with Healing Haiti, I’ve consistently felt God’s strength guiding me, especially during challenging times in Titanyen. I recall when gangs overtook the area, prompting many to flee. Despite my fears, I felt a responsibility to remain, believing in God’s plan. Staying allowed us to reopen Grace Academy and achieve a successful academic year, with nearly all students passing their national exams. One of my favorite Bible verses, John 14:1—”Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.”—reminds me to trust in God’s presence and promises. Please pray for my spiritual growth, leadership, and for positive change in Haiti, so we can welcome teams again as we once did. Your support has made a profound impact, especially in Titanyen, enabling many children to receive an education they might have otherwise missed. Together, we’ve created something truly special in our community.”
